The Raleigh Freeride AT20 uses AIRLite alloy tubing- 24 speed Shimano gears- a Suntour XCT V2 suspension fork and a super strong but lightweight double wall wheelset with puncture proof tyres. The proprietary ALUXX SL alloy from Giant's own forging facilities is stiffer and lighter than 6061-series aluminum, while PowerCore – a massively oversized bottom bracket/chainstay area with fully integrated 86mm BB and asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside for unprecedented pedalling stiffness.
